Maylani's coconut stout. Very nice. Low ABV stout that is not sweet, but quite roasty, and with a beautiful coconut flavor infusion. Would be an A- beer, but the mouthfeel is thin, reflective of its low ABV in all likelihood. Nevertheless, recommended! B+

Can thanks to glkaiser! Pours deep reddish black with a small brown creamy head and nice lacing. Aroma is roasty, chocolate, toasted coconut, ashtray, Flavor is the same, lactic plus cocoa sweetness, definitely coconut. Overall medium sweet but with offsetting medium bitterness. Full body, creamy mouthfeel. This. Is. A. Good. Beer. So there!

Now that itís warm I can properly rate this. Smells of coconut and milk chocolate. Flavors are sweetened coconut and burnt chocolate, with a nice roasted malt flavor that goes into a burnt touch towards and into the finish. Hints of nuts and coffee as well. Good stuff here!

Dark brown in color, with a thin tan head. Nice light coconut aroma lingers as the chocolate and coffee favors come out nicely. Very tasty stout with added light coconut flavors. Very good beer.

Can from Malt & Vine. Can was a bit too full. Pours dark brown/black with a slight tan head. Aroma is chocolate, and I think I can actually smell coconut. Med body. Flavor is actually quite coconut. Followed by dry, fairly bitter, chocolate. Kudos for getting in a easily detectable amount of coconut. Usually I donít get it. Coconut keeps coming back as chocolate goes away. Good stuff.

Chocolate aromas pours very dark with ruby highlights with minimal head retention and lacing. Dry, chocolate, roast, espresso, slight oilyness earth and is drinkable with a low viscosity. Drink Warm!

Tallboy Can. Pitch black with a substantial layer of cappuccino foam. Aroma is a blend of toasted coconut, charred malts and dark chocolate. The flavor delivers a healthy dose of coconut, coffee and cocoa at the start along with some roasted malt and Kahlķa in the finish. Good choice to pair with a chocolate dessert.

Poured from a can jet black and no head, almost flat. Aroma mostly of chocolate and smoky oak. Body is flat. Flavor is not as promising as the description. Bitter chocolate, very slight hints of coconut.

On tap @ the brewery. Pours thick inky brown with thin mocha head. Aroma is dark charred malt and a hint of chocolate. Taste is smooth super roasty malt with mild chocolate finish. I worked through 2 pints and gotta say, I just couldnít make out any coconut. At all. Weird. Tasty stout nonetheless, nice flavor and body.
