UPDATED: MAY 13, 2013 Bottle. Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is dark yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain), lightly hoppy (herbs). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/syrupy texture, lively carbonation. Very simple, basic, malt-heavy rendition. A touch syrupy-sweeter than most, but not unpleasantly so. No flaws but instantly forgettable.

#1308 Rezentes Aroma nach getoastetem Brot. Wunderbar weiches Brauwasser, wenig CO2. Geil!

Slender swing-top by 11.10.12. Nose of sweet malt, faint citrus, some good caramel, faint hops. Rich, deep orange body, clear with a rocky eggshell head. Thin body, densely crisp, with a dry/bready resolution. Caramel and a touch of cracker, hops are light, citrus is very quenching, and overall it’s relatively dry. A good one from the country!

Bottle @ Meyer’s house. Clear burnt orange appearance with an off white head. Toasty, caramel malty, grassy, a bit yeasty aroma. A touch burnt, toasty malty, somewhat chewy, bready yeasty, hay flavor. Not bad.
