Bought bottle in Bayonne,France Medium body and complexity Aromas of weissbier Enjoyable

4.0% pale gold colour with a thin head, not much aroma, watery malt taste, usual French beer but in a big bottle.

Clear goldenof color with a white head. An aroma of dried fruit, malt, citrus, hops and spice. A flavor of hae, malt, dusty and spicy notes. Dry finish.

I ran across this beer in Ascain, quite close to where it is brewed in Sare. I ordered this expecting the watery flavorless liquid which normally passes for beer in warmer southerly climes but was very pleasantly surprised.
