300 ml bottle from Yamaya. Not the “Bambi Cup.” Nice spicy nose of rice and koji. Pepper, flowers. Slightly yellowish, a bit icy. Somewhat funky flavor at first, rice, peppery, koji, dust, a bit of warm sweetness but a dry, fiery finish. Decent, light, clean, not all that super flavorful but good enough.

Sake Cup shared with Linh, Daddy Vuong, Ken and Nicca. Pours a clear body with light tint. Aroma is fruits - melon, watermelon and strawberry. Mouthfeel is medium with notes of flowers, watermelon, light fruit, alcohol and rice. Nice sake.

Cup. Pours a clear water color with a lightly yellow hue. Soft rice on the nose, lightly floral. Medium bodied, smooth, the alcohol hits before the rice, somewhat abrupt and without much nuance. Warm rice and alcohol, slight sweetness and yeast on the finish. Nothing amazing, but the cup is super cute.

Cup Sake @ Buri: Cute little deer on the cup, awww. Strong koji in the nose, bright alcohol, light rice, light fruit, lots of anise. Strong light nigori flavor, thick body and a moderate mouthfeel. Nice sake, straight forward Junmai with nothing noteworthy.
