It has a greenish hue. Strong aroma of rice, alcohol, mild cedar, almonds and almond flowers. Smooth mouthfeel, with evident alcohol impression, a nice share of fruit flavor (melon); it ends dry.
Pleasant.

yngwie (9175) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - APR 9, 2010
Bottle, 30cl, at RBNAG -09. Courtesy of Gr0ve. A clear, colorless drink. Alcohol, papery rice, some fruityness and unripe banana on the nose. The flavor is very ricey, with the same unripe banana-like fruityness. Alcohol warmth down the throat, medium body fullness. A sort of decent sake, but not my choice for a drink on its own. 091107

300 ml bottle sampled@RBNAG 2009, Vatlandsvåg. Clear, pale yellow body. For me the aroma is just like water from boiling rice and quite strong alcohol fusel. Flavor is boiled rise water and alcohol as well. I had another sip the next morning, and might just sense a little hint of something between fruity and flower. I don’t know much about Sake, but I can’t believe this strong alcohol flavor make this one of the better samples. It’s simply to sharp on the alcohol. With the rest I just have to work my scores around midle as a I go on and learn more about this stuff.
