From the bottle at the brewery, 2/25/06: Dark brown with a big ol’ head. Rerated in May, and not as favorably. Very light bodied. The foam has a nasty sweet malt-ball flavor. The beer is better warmer, but it isn’t all that great.

Apr 18, 2006 In the bottle at the brewpub. Pours a rich dark gold color, maybe a light amber with an off-white head. Has a malty aroma. Flavor has a salty weird alka-seltzer taste! It gives you an intense tartness with a good malt backbone as it warms. A little bit more interesting than most Ak beers.
