2/26/06: Poured from the bottle with a dark golden hue, almost amber. Just a hint of carbonation, but a big standing foam top. Slippery on the tongue, this has a lightly tart taste, almost appley. Hint of a bitter twist in the finish. Pretty good.

Feb 17, 2006 In the bottle. Dark gold in color with a white head. Milder in the hop department than the Aksarben European Pilsner. Very good grapefruit flavor as there’s still plenty of hops here. I don’t think that they lager these beers at cold temperaturs, so most of the "lagers" made here are closer to steam beers.
