Bottled at brewpub. Looks like cider with an off white head. Aroma was cider, apple, and spices. Very light body with little flavor. There was a hint of apple in the flavor, but not much else.

UPDATED: NOV 26, 2006 In the bottle at the brewpub. Pours a reddish brown color with a big perfect off-white head. Has a molasses aroma. Roasted and chocolatey. Gypsum perhaps? Good bittering dryness for the finish. UPDATE 11/2006: This beer is now called the Harvest Brown. On tap at the brewpub. Pours an opaque brown with a beige head. Has the aroma of maple and baked squash with a splash of chocolate. As it warms the aroma produces some nice caramel. Roasted flavor at first finishes very tart. A bit watery and thin. Drying and salty bicarb at the end. Fairly good head retention with nice lacing.

From the bottle, deep ruby red with a gigantic foamy head. Sweet malty nose and an even sweeter malt basis in the flavor. Almost a caramel component. Very sweet.
