Aksarben Hefeweizen

On tap at the brewpub. Poured a dark copper with a dirty white head. Aroma was great: Belgian yeast, spices, banana, and clove. Banana, clove, and belgian yeast make up the solid flavor profile of this one. Good body for the style.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a murky light prown baby poop color with a thick off-white head. The aroma is AWESOME! very strong banana aroma at first, but as it warms, I actually get pronounced mustard aromas. Flavor has a yummy tartness with really good sweetness as well. The esters are rich and can tasted as delicious banana. The honey mustard dressing flavor emerges at warming as well. This is a nice beer. The only drawback is the dark color for a non-dunkel.
