Aksarben Irish Stout

On tap at the brewpub. Pours dark brown with a light brown head. Aroma was big coffee with some chocolate notes to compliment. Flavor was coffee with some earth notes. Coffee dominates this beer’s flavor and aroma. Solid body.

Bottle: Poured with a nice enough head. Deep black. Decent enough roasted coffee aroma. Too light a body, like most from this place. Light java flavors, but again with the tart sourness.

In the bottle. Pours dark brown with a light brown head. Very mild carbonation, but a thick head. Nice roasted aroma. Flavor is a little weak. Slightly tart with a medium palate. Still, an easy drinker and probably one of the better offerings here.
