On tap at the brewery. Aksarben has a new brewmaster, Brendan McGinn. This pale ale is now called "Pacific Pale Ale." It is likely vastly improved upon from the beer rated by Braudog. Pours a reddish amber with a white head. Has a fruity, percimmon-like aroma. There’s an outstanding berry-like flavor with a good bittering chase. Nice lacing on the glass. Has a solid bitter finish with some good roasted flavor at the end.

I’m really bored with these guys’ beers but i have another 6-pack to get thru. This is another poofy-headed shiny beer ... at least with a little color I guess. But there’s absolutely no flavor here ... worst yet.
