argo0 (6145), Washington DC, USA May 11, 2007 (50cl bottle) Medium white head atop clear pale straw body. Aroma is medium sweet, bread, faint grassy. Taste is medium sweet, cereal/bread, hay/grass, faint apple. Bitterness becomes slightly more pronounced as it warms. Slight dryness in the finish. Light-medium body, some crispness, light chalk, fairly drinkable. BückDich (4525), Boise, Idaho, USA Jun 11, 2008 Bottle: Lightly hazy gold color with a light white head and a decent ring of lacing. The nose is snappy with a touch of earthy noble hops and a very clean touch of pilsner malt. A light malty mouthfeel accompanies the nose and it transcends down into a light mouthfeel and a crisp grassy body. The finish is pale and light. Toasty malts, crisp bitterness, but not as brash as I’d expect. I’d like to see more toast and more bitter. Cornfield (4255), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Jun 5, 2007 Very pale yellow with lively carbonation and a tall sudsy head, this lager has an aroma of warm bread, wet grasses, lemon, and flowers. The flavor is bready and grainy with grassy hops and a touch of lemon tartnes. If this had a crisper or dryer finish or was heavier handed with the hops, I’d like it a bunch more, but it still makes for a fine sessionable beer.

JPDIPSO (4210), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Jan 13, 2006 Lightly hazed straw color with a fingers worth of rather dense off-white foam. Mildly citric aromas coupled with a fresh scone scent. LIghtly spritzy on the tongue.Light pale malt are the players in this one with only a touch of acidic and herbal hops to balance the light sweetness. A rather delicate pils. I am assuming this was only made for export as I see no one from europe has rated this one. AToo much citrus for my tastes. I do have to agree with Ernest that this does get better as it warms. Ernest (4197), Boulder, Colorado, USA Oct 30, 2002 Updated: Jan 29, 2007Head is initially average sized, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is light yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (herbs, flowers). Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately bitter. Light to medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, slightly metallic. Attractive hoppy nose (and this bottle isn’t even particularly fresh!), seems like a Saaz and Hallertauer blend. Pretty darned clean, and very well balanced. I thought I might not like this anymore, being four years since my last rating, but I have to admit this one’s remarkably solid.
