1.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20 Gerbeer (854) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - APR 11, 2013
650 ml bottle. Pours amber with medium head. Light aromas of cotton candy, malts, and cereal. Yikes, more sugar than malts! Possibly a bit of toast, honey, and floral notes. But the sugar/syrup content kills everything else. Extra negative marks off for the wax cap and extra farting around required to open the bottle. Who is impressed by wax?

Hazy gold, lasting white head.Nose of corn & light spice. Corny grainy alcoholic palate, spicy notes. Quite unpleasant
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jgb9348 (3962) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - APR 6, 2013
Nice very hazy golden coloured body with a super rich four centimetre tall tan head and tons of bubbles rising from the bottom. Aroma of alcohol, bananas, strong pungent yeast, bread, malt and a bit of light spices. Full-bodied; Strong malt and wheat flavour with a lot of yeast and bread noticeable, a hint of bananas and some other fruit-based sugars. Aftertaste shows mostly malt and all the alcohol flavours. Overall, a pungent and strong beer with a lot of the flavours you’d expect from a cream, just multiplied by a thousand or so - which is great if you like the style! I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Belmont Station in Portland, Oregon on 28-February-2012 for US$6.75 sampled at home in Washington on 06-April-2013 a few days before leaving to go back to Portland.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 after4ever (5279) - Brier, Washington, USA - APR 4, 2013
22, capped and waxed. Pink wax. Of course. Slightly hazy burnished medium amber with bright golden edges. Lots of dense creamy tan lace. Gargantuan cotton candy and captain crunch nose. "Subtle spiciness"? More like nuclear sugar fusion. Everything else falls away around the sugar volcano. Sticky thick body with soft carb. Sugary biscuits, cotton candy, and captain crunch on the mid palate. Long finish like drinking a bowl of leftover cereal milk after fruity pebbles.
2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 6/20 Hanuta06 (142) - Washington, USA - MAR 31, 2013
UPDATED: APR 6, 2013 Serving: from bottle--purchased at Made in Oregon.
Aroma: lightly hoppy and citrusy.
Appearance: large, frothy, white, initial head with fair lacing and fully lasting longevity. Hazy, dark-yellow/light amber body with tiny body particles.
Taste: lightly yeasty initial flavor and harshly sweet finish with long duration.
Palate: light body, syrupy texture and lively carbonation.
Overall: maybe I got a bad bottle of this. It began great--excellent aroma and appearance, good initial flavor . . . and then the syrupy sweet finish kicked in. I haven’t had anything this sweet before--not even soda. I’d try this again (because everything was great until the finish), but if it’s supposed to be this sickly sweet, forget it.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 poisoneddwarf (1305) - Rathdrum, Idaho, USA - MAR 9, 2013
Crazy pink waxed-dipped bomber. Pours a hazy cantaloupe hue with a medium white head with decent retention. Aroma is doughy, creamed corn. Taste is sweet, spicy (like Belgian yeast spicy, with clove standing out) and savory; ends lightly tart. Tastes pretty much just like a lot of imperial pilsners out there, actually. It’s biscuity, a little boozy (not detrimental right now, but I wonder how it will taste after it warms up). The maize and candy sugar make things interesting. I’m digging it.

Draught. Sweet peach aroma. Sweet malt flavour with peach and pear juice notes. Some hoppiness in the finish. Fuller than most cream ales.
