COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Smooth, rich and creamy. Rye malt blends with roast and chocolate malts to create a new and delicious stout profile, balanced with soft and velvety hops. This northwest original is poured using the traditional nitrogen dispensing method, so it may take an extra minute to arrive, but the wait is worth it. The Black Bear won the Gold Medal at the 2003 GABF in the foreign-style stout category. Have a pint of Stout with the Seven-Barrel Burger or the Beer Battered Onion Rings.

Rated on 5-15-2013 (Bottle) The appearance is a small light brown head that mostly diminishes, opaque dark brown body and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is roasted coffee, chocolate and malt. The flavor is roasted coffee, chocolate, malt, and a burnt taste. The mouthfeel is smooth and dry. This beer is light bodied. Overall, this beer is quaffable with a thin texture. It is has a lingering roasted, burnt aftertaste. It is a beer worth trying.

UPDATED: FEB 8, 2015 On tap at the brewpub - Pours dark brown with a tan head. The aroma has creamy chocolate, smooth roast, dark caramel and lots of cream. It has a medium smooth body with super soft carbonation. It starts with the aroma traits, but drier and has cocoa and light char in there. The finish gets a touch watery. Pretty good stout.

This is an overall good beer. Fairly light for an imperial stout but good. Definitely swish this beer in the glass to open up the flavor

Bomber from Roth’s. 7%. Black in color on the pour. Nose is roasty with quite a strong whiff of burnt coffee. Dry roasty flavor. Lots off coffee. A hint of milk sugar. Pretty good stout. Doesn’t really taste like most foreign stouts I’ve had. Good stout though.

Bottle. Black in color with a nice creamy tan head. Milk chocolate and roasted notes in aroma. Bitterness and bit of muted vanilla too. Dark chocolate mixed with bit of anise and coffee in taste. Soft and velvety sweet mouthfeel. Espresso in the end.

Bomber, 7% Abv. Hueless darkest brown, fading mocha foam. Aroma of dark roasted malt and chocolate. Bittersweet dark roast chocolate taste, coffee hint, no rye, subtle. Softer carbonation, medium bodied, lightly hopped. DNFL (Definitely not for Lagerboys)

Maybe my favorite stout. Rich black body with a thick chocolate tan head. Smooth malt with nice coffee bitter notes. Chocolate and light black berry notes. A really stellar beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

W aromacie przyjemna czekolada i kakao, dość słodki.

22oz in Seattle. Dark heavy black, small tan head. Sweet grain, raisins, when I read it has rye it made sense. Good chewy body, a bit sweet. Tasty solid stout

Currently I am updating my ratebeer with al the beers I drank but was too lazy to rate at the time. I give the scores I gave back than. If I drink the beers again I might re-rate them.
