3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(Bottle 65 cl) Very dark brown with a vague tint of red and a dense, beige head. Lightly sweet and fruity with roasted malts. Medium body with a fairly high carbonation and accents of hard roasted malt. A vague, underlying tartness that I don’t believe is intentional. But drinkable indeed. 011206

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Black color with brownish head. Mild roasted malt aroma. Round and soft mouthfeel; good roasted malt flavor, delicate, not burnt or ashy, with some dark chocolate; it has some residual sweetness, with traces of lactose; correct bitterness.
Sweetish stout. Not bad.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: APR 15, 2014 Very dark brown. Beautiful aroma with nuts, dark chocolate and light espresso. Exceptionally well-balanced character hits all the right notes - light black malt, hint of tartness, rich chocolate, good hop underpinning.
