A nice amber color with a strong hops aroma. The aroma was floral and deep and the flavors where crisp and very nice. This was a very nice IPA to drink not too over the top on the hops.
Ungstrup (11031), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jul 16, 2008 Draft. A hazy dark golden beer with a lazing orangey head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel as well as a lighter note of citrusy hops. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of grass and grapefruit from the hops, leading to a dry bitter and grassy finish. BlackDonald (1040), North Carolina, USA Jun 5, 2008 This was actually suprisingly good. Most of their stuff ranges from good to mediocre, but this I really enjoyed. The nose has big fruity hop aromas, lots of citrus and an actual malt presence. Suprisingly bitter in the finish. Tasty and refreshing. presario (2392), Calgary, Alberta, Canada May 23, 2008 Tap at Horse Brass. Thick creamy head on dark orange amber. Rich hop note. Big fruity taste. Dry hop finish. raphael (256), Portland, Oregon, USA Feb 12, 2008 On tap at mickey finn’s. drk amber with thin head, aroma a little placid but pine, caramel, oak. good carbonation with just a shade of weight in the mouth. some edgy bitterness, some clash of citrus and resin & maybe the malt itself, having some presence. better than I expected BuckeyeBoy (1113), Boise, Idaho, USA Jan 12, 2008 On Tap at Alameda Brewing Co.
