BückDich (4540), Boise, Idaho, USA Feb 4, 2004 Hazy copper, amber color with no head & light lacing. The aroma is very grapefruity with hops, fresh & floral. Light hopiness compliments the malts perfectly. The use of specialty hops is the key I think. Finishes lightly sweet & bitter. mmmmmmm, not over the top like Stone Pale, more balanced like it should be. Definately dry hopped I think. acrdz (4283), Boulder, Colorado, USA Dec 29, 2003 Murky orange. Sweet sugar and honey hopped nose. Very nice full hop flavor of grapefruit and bread. Hearty, reminds me of Full Sail Pale Ale. Frothy and bitter finish. invalid (302), Columbus, Ohio, USA Nov 27, 2006 Pours a nice dark golden orange with a staple white head. Smells of American hops, citrus and notes of straw. Nice body and hop aftertaste. I liked this one a lot. Sham (1846), Seattle, Washington, USA Feb 5, 2004 Amber pour with a small head and sparse lacing. Nice balance of citrus and floral hops in the aroma along with some maltiness. Very well balanced flavors. The malt and hops blend together very well leaving you with just a touch of alcohol. Nice body. Hoppy palate with a bitter finish. Very good pale ale. harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Jan 10, 2006 Burnt auburn in color, small creamy head that fades quickly. Nice hop nose, with some sweet maltiness coming through as well. Full of grapefruit, this is extremely thirst quenching. Has a great bite up front that fades into a smooth clean finish. Very well balanced.
