COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With an appealing amber color, this brew has a perfect balance of caramel malt and spicy hop flavors. The Munich malt in this recipe lends a rich mouth feel, while generous additions of Pacific-Northwest hops complete the balance. Try a pint of Pale with the Salmon Gyros, Falafel or Alameda Dip.

Maybe it was just a bad pint, but I thought the beer was a little bland in taste. Could have been I was comparing it to the previous glass of their IPA. Probably a decent beer. Looks nice and smells good, but the flavor falls a little short.

22oz. bottle from Johnís Market. Pours a moderately opaque, deep amber color. Big assed off-white head issues forth and slowly recedes, fantastic lacing. Wonderful "C" hop aroma, lightly floral, moderately citric. Body is just a bit disappointing. Not terrifically light but seemingly missing something, hard to describe but there. Flavor is nicely balanced with some caramel sweetness and a moderate hop bitterness and flavor. Decently done, scoring higher if it didnít have that void.

Apricot body with modest head and mild hop nose. Easy, quenching hop flavor, some bitterness of fresh hops. A decent APA. Mild sour finish.

Decent session pale ale. Definitely made in more of an English tradition, this is very malt forward, with the hops folowing ever so slightly in the background with some toffee flavors and a buttery herbal hop note in the finish. Exciting enough on the palate to not be boring, but not assertive enough to completely be a palate killer. Extremely drinkable.

Amber with reddish highlights. Plenty of lacings. Nice citrus hps and sweet malts. Not over-done. Excellent Pale Ale. Lists abv of 5%. Perfect session PA. These guys do good work. Recommended. Nice bitter finish.

Draught at Tugboat. Straight up pale that is fairly balanced, light, and drinkable.

Piney, citrus hops with a grassiness to it on the nose. Slightly hazy, dark golden color, bordering on copper. A nice shot of grass that finishes dry. Malt is hidden, playing a supporting role in the middle palate. A nice balance of body and carbonation. Good pale - enough flavor for the afficionados but still sessionable.

22 ounce bottle purchased from LetsPour. Poured an amber color with aromas of floral hops, pale malts, and some light fruit. Flavors are the same with a touch of biscuits coming through.

Draught at Alameda Brewing Co. Funky and fresh aroma. Light copper with a tan head. Tangy, bright caramel and pine balance right away . Pleasant bittering in mid and final. Thin-medium body. Pretty good. Has more flavor than (and somewhat different flavors from) most pale ales.

660ml brown bottle. Dark golden pour with light haze and a low sitting slightly frothy whitish cap. The nose has some citrus hops and some sweet malts as well. Taste has caramel malts, some fruitiness, citrus hops. Caramel and toasted malt finish with some nice late bitterness. Overall, a malt heavy APA, very quaffable.
