With an appealing amber color, this brew has a perfect balance of caramel malt and spicy hop flavors. The Munich malt in this recipe lends a rich mouth feel, while generous additions of Pacific-Northwest hops complete the balance. Try a pint of Pale with the Salmon Gyros, Falafel or Alameda Dip.

Draught at Alameda Brewing Co. Funky and fresh aroma. Light copper with a tan head. Tangy, bright caramel and pine balance right away . Pleasant bittering in mid and final. Thin-medium body. Pretty good. Has more flavor than (and somewhat different flavors from) most pale ales.

660ml brown bottle. Dark golden pour with light haze and a low sitting slightly frothy whitish cap. The nose has some citrus hops and some sweet malts as well. Taste has caramel malts, some fruitiness, citrus hops. Caramel and toasted malt finish with some nice late bitterness. Overall, a malt heavy APA, very quaffable.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Hazy amber color with compact head. Caramel aroma, a bit metallic and dusty. Dry mouthfeel; caramel flavor with an ashy and dusty touch; strong bitterness, quite resiny, a bit fruity. Light metallic note in the final.
Good beer, but the ashy touch is not required.

0,33l blik bij bar douw. Amberkleurig met een minimale crème schuimkraag. Geur is tropisch fruit. Smaak is een beetje waterig met tropisch fruit in de afdronk wat zoute drop. Body is wat mager.

Rating 1124 08.06.2014 - Consumed straight from bomber in a park SE of the Underground after #yegbeerfest. Golden amber pour with a creamy white head that bubbles away quickly. Hops very fragrant with mild citrus in the aroma. Mouthfeel is creamy, medium carbonation, and bitter hops on the finish - but not overpowering, very balanced. Delicious.

The Klickitat Pale Ale is a very drinkable deep amber pale with a hazy copper body and a floral caramel taste. A little thin in the finish. Creamy, malty (for a pale) and overall pretty good.

Bomber from Capital market,Salem. Copper coloured, clear with a large creme coloured head. Light, subdued aromas of malts and some hops. Very malt driven Pale ale, toffeeish, creamy and almost English, the NW hopping does make an appearance near the end. Pretty nice on the palate, quite full. A nice middle of the road Pale Ale more English than American style IMO.
