DA (2421), Portland, Oregon City, Oregon, USA Aug 31, 2008 On tap at the brewery. Lighter amber in color with a small white head. Light citrus hops in the nose with a soft caramel malt base. Decent and balanced, but the hops weren’t floral enough to really stand out with some of the other pales available in the market. greenhorn1 (370), Eugene, Oregon, USA Aug 13, 2008 22 oz bomber. Pours amber with a two finger thick head. Amber in color. Aroma and flavor are similiar, caramel malts, floral notes, and citrus. Reminds me more of an amber than APA, as the malt mostly dominates the flavor. Dry finish. Overall, not a bad beer, just a bit plain. Very easy to drink. rkuhnel (1102), Eureka, California, USA Aug 2, 2008 Picked up this bottle in Ashland, Oregon at The Market of Choice. The 22 oz bottle poured a deep amber with red tinges. Very big foarm head that lasted a long time, and left good allacing. Nose of of caramel malts and citrus hops. Mouthfeel is medium. Flavor is like the aroma, mostly caramel malts and citurs hops Finish is dry. bhensonb (2882), Woodland, California, USA Aug 1, 2008 Bomber from Sondra (a good soul who doesn’t drink alcohol). Red tinged amber color with a decent white head. APA aroma - citrus hop over lightly roasted malts. Medium bodied with very frothy, creamy carbonation. A hint of sour, with malt and citrus hop. Reminds me a little of Siletz. Finish is dry, citric and puckerish. It’s a bit off style in my thoughts. Decent drink, but I am not positive I would actively seek it out.
