22. Pours an opaque black with a light creamy tan head. Olives and campfire on the nose. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Smoky black olive mid palate with a mild salty finish. Decent old ale.

Bottle with Carla. Pours a hazy ruby/brown with tan foam. Smells malty and lightly of cinnamon. Tastes lightly sweet and ends surprisingly bitter, though watery.

On tap at Flying Pie. tan head over dark brown. Scent of molasses, coca cola, caramel. Chewy. Spiciness, plum pudding, resiny hops, cheap red wine. fairly clean finish.

Bottle at the 5th Annual Richmond Industry Gathering on 11/28/2010. Clear amber body with a small off-white head. Sweet caramel and light floral aroma. Big caramel and grain flavor. Medium body with moderate carbonation.

22 oz bottle from Fred Meyer - Pours brown with a white head. Very malty aroma. Tastes like a grain bin smells with some caramel thrown in for fun. Texture is a little like drinking dirt. Nice beer, but not on par with many other winter seasonals.

Tap at Horse Brass. Dark brown colored with a nice tan head. Smells of toffee, roast, bread. Tastes like toffee, caramel, quite a bit of roast and a bitter spicy, earth hop finish.
