650ml bomber pours amber in color with a 2 finger off-white head that retains well and leaves some spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is caramel and earthy notes with some herbal and pine notes. Taste is a caramel malty sweetness with a herbal, earthy and pine hop bitterness that finishes old and dusty. Overall, I think this brew is aged past its prime and should be tried fresher.

Craft Clerkenwell. Bruce’s UK Swan Song. Hazy red - amber beer, good cream colour head. Airy palate, fairly dry. Mild carbonation. Light malts and a little spice. Insipid marmalade and pine hops. Dry finish. Meh! Messy!

Dark ruby color, steady beige head. Grassy, yeasty, herbal hoppy aroma. Medium-bodied. Harsh, yeasty, spicey. Oddly off-beat. Harsh aftertaste ...

Bottled. Amber colour, big off-white head. Aroma is earthy, some floral notes, mild toffee and some grassy notes. Flavour is grassy, floral and some earthy notes. Surprisingly dry flavour for an amber ale. Still pretty much has got "old beer" feeling over it. (Bottled 04/10/14).
