COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This easy drinking beer is all about the malts with the hops taking a back seat. The use of English floor malted barley lends this ale its earthy, malty aroma and flavor. Hints of caramel and raisin from the specialty grains are balanced by a subtle bitterness and dry finish. Have one sip, enjoy the journey, and repeat.

Bottle:   Deep caramel, dirty, large frothy off-white head, sticky lacing.   Faint citrus rind, pale caramel malt, very soft hops.   A little bubbley on the tongue, semi-sweet thin maltiness.   Flavorwise there is faint pine, caramel, citrus rind, and hops.   I saw the waxed cap and thought it was some big beer, but this is a middle of the road Irish Red.   Meh... not bad, but nothing to write home about either.
