Black,lasting tan heade.Nose of light roast & brown sugar.Light bodied dry malt fore,medium roast profile, nice bitter roast finish. No nuts noticeable whatsoever. I say this because I detest hazelnuts !!

650 ml bottle. Pours black with large tan head of big bubbles. Aroma of milk chocolate, roasted malts, and a hint of dark fruit. Flavors of dark chocolate, nuts, and light roasted malts. An excellent porter.

Waxed bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours very dark brown with a 4 finger humongously frothy darkish tan head that collapses in an interesting way. Aroma is sort of nutty/soapy over firm chocolate and smooth burnt malt. Med body more or less. Flavor is very nutty, quickly moving to rather dark chocolate. There’s underlying smooth burnt/roast malt. Tho 15 IBU it’s dry and decently bitter. Nut oil aspects are rather minimal, but it’s clearly nutty. I think I like hazelnuts more than chestnuts where beer is concerned. This is pretty tasty and interesting.
