BlackDonald (610), On a beer trip all over the USA, California, USA Jun 5, 2008 Citrusy soapy hoppiness in the nose, with a lighter bodied caramel maltiness. Not overly carbonated, with kind of a lighter bodied mouthfeel. Slightly bitter and astringent on the finish. not really my style. Angeloregon (1464), Portland, Oregon, USA Dec 18, 2007 This was the hoppiest beer until the El Torrero came along. Poued a nice copper-orange color with a small white head. Citrus hops presence and floral biscuity nose. NOt well balanced, finished a little thin, but overall a nice brew. superflashgo (9), Vancouver, Washington, USA does not count Nov 29, 2007 The aroma is nice and hoppy but doesn’t really grab you. Warm cloudy amber, color is on the light side. Nice citrusy hop flavor that’s balanced pretty well, but maybe a little harsh and detergenty. Overall my favorite of the Alameda’s brews! BillKismet (1337), Seattle, Washington, USA Oct 21, 2007 Easy peach-amber color with mild, hard to name hop aroma. Off-tasting hops. Sour and bitterish. raphael (238), Portland, Oregon, USA Apr 14, 2007 cloud orange amber, quick white head. light aroma of hops, lemon, hay. clena tasting, citrusy but not bitter, a little malt weight 9had this on tap at the pub, & i recommend happy hour)
