Poured from the tap. Cloudy yellow with minimal white head. Citrus hop aroma. A bit of yeast and grassy hops in the flavour, seems a bit muted overall.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Enjoyed this beer. The aroma a little bitter, definite citrus overtones. Golden in color, haze with a sticky white head. Medium body, sticky with a bitter finish. all in all a nice Imperial IPA with an average presentation. I don’t think I’d write home about it, but nice and a good choice with dinner.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Fruity, lightly spicy, blonde...the strength is quite evident, good balance though, clean pale malts, citrus, bitterness, just a nice balanced example.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
The appearance has a hazy golden orange somewhat brown body with a half finger’s worth of foamy head that concaves a bit into the body.
The smell has a malty sweet yet light citrus trying to burst through. It stays a bit backward throughout the beer for the most part.
The taste is mainly sweet with a stronger breadier note to the flavoring and more of a grapefruit/lemon-ness comes out as it warms. There is a strong grapefruit aftertaste with a quick citrus somewhat dry finish.
On the palate, she sits about a medium on the body, comes across fairly sessionable. Carbonation seems to be good for the style and good for me.
Overall, this is a good DIPA that I would have again, nothing to scream about, but definitely worth having again.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz in Seattle. Quite hazy yellow-gold, lemony juicy, with foamy white head. Sharp metallic hops aroma, medium bodied imp IPA, some stale orange. Don’t think this is as fresh as could be, a bit malt heavy. But a nice beer.

Plenty ’o hops! Tangerine, grapefruit, orange, bit ’o pine, slightly floral. Needs to be stronger. Eats pretty good for an average iipa. Pine, citruseseses, grapefruit, can’t find the caramel too well. Fairly smooth with ok bitterness.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bomber. Almost opaque orange amber, frothy white foam head mostly settles. Hoppy citrus herbal floral evergreen aroma. Citrus fruity hop forward taste, some pine, solid malts, light caramel, grapefruit takes over. Average carbonation, medium bodied, more aggressively hopped. Finishes clean dry and bitter. A lighter Impy, but still: DNFL (Definitely Not For Lagerboys)

Rating #885 - January 6, 2013 - #mondaynightbeers @RevolutionYEG 8 oz on draught, 8.2%. Clear amber/golden pour with a bubbly white foam, spotty lacing. Really light in colour for a DIPA. Nose is super cascadey, pink grapefruit and orange abound. Mouthfeel crisp, mild alcohol warmth, low-medium carbonation. Taste is sweet orangey, pink grapefruit notes with the spicy tang and hoppy bite that leaves you drooling for another sip. Pretty snazzy.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
650ml brown bottle. Hazy gold. Low sitting soapy looking white head. Nose has rich orange zest and grapefruity hops. Taste is pretty clean as far as malts bit of fruitiness in there and a light sweetness, hops are grapefruity with orange peel and hits of pine. Long grapefruity hop finish, medium bitterness. Lighter mouthfeel than expected, and not much sign of the alcohol. Overall, a bit clean and lacking some malt "oomph" for me. Quite bitter though.
