Bottle. Pours a very hazy copper color with a moderate white head on it. Nose has a little floral and hoppy, but not overly aromatic. Taste is actually pretty light and hoppy, with just a little bit of bitterness coming through. Very light, though, and well balanced. Much better than the IPA.

From bottle. Dark golden yellow. Intense grassy hop aroma. Citrus and tropical fruit hop taste, with sweet caramel notes. Hoppiness is more sweet than bitter.

Better than average IPA... at 8.2% ABV it’ll get you drunk... smooth drinking and has the usual IPA qualities (citrus taste...)

On Tap. April 17th 2013 in Portland. Drinkable IPA a hazy yellow in color, a nice hoppy taste but nothing spectacular. A decent IPA sums it up.

Slightly hazy golden yellow coloured body with a thin white head. Aroma of alcohol, pine, grapefruit and bunches of hops with a hint of sugar. Full to Medium-bodied; Strong grapefruity flavour with citrus and pine noticeable and a good malt backbone without being too deep. Aftertaste shows a good balance of malt and hops with a lot of body, but not cloying at all. Overall, a nice Imperial IPA but nothing spectacular - a very good balance and showing some nice hop notes. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Belmont Station in Portland, Oregon yesterday, 12-April-2013 for US$4.98 sampled in my hotel room here in Portland a day later on 13-April-2013.

Bottle shared at Gigantic. Pours a deep copper color with a medium to large white head with some lacing. A sweet fruity nose with apricot. The flavor is well balance with dry earthy malts, big fruity hops, oranges, and a bitter finish. Very clean. Tasty.

Sampled at Fort Wayne rating party - this hazy copper beer has a good citrus hop dominated aroma and a lingering head that laces well. It has the expected strong bitterness and also an ample malt body that holds up all that hops well. Really good though I’d have liked to see a little more complexity in the flavor.

Apricot, citrus, flowers, and a lot of caramel. My friend called this "wheaty". I didn’t. Great DIPAs make you want to hold the glass to your nose and scream "MORE!" this wasn’t quite like that, but still I really enjoyed it, the bitter attack was not thin and actually somewhat resinous, therefore good.
