Mild balanced nose. Nothing stands out at all. Nice yellow color with a white head. Not sure what is going on. Next to no bitterness. Easy to drink, but forgettable.

Bottle. Big blast of citric hoppiness right out of the bottle. Huge head and lively soft carbonation. Lots of lace. Slightly cloudy and dark gold. Bitter with bodacious malt body. Good.

Cloudy yellow, lasting white head.Dry citrus hop nose.Big dry citrus hop profile, lacks malt backbone.Long bitter/citrus hop end. Great lace Would benefit considerably from a bigger malt presence

Cloudy light gold in color with a small head that disappears quickly. Distinct smell and taste that I can’t place with a non hoppy bitter aftertaste. I think there are better beers out there in the same price range.

650 ml bottle from 16th St. Pours a very murky orange/brown with suspended sediment and very little head. Hoppy grapefruit and pine aroma. Grapefruit and oranges to taste with a touch of spice. Nice.

In short: A well malted blonde IPA with assertive grapefruity/grassy hopping. Very good.
How: Bottle 22oz consumed fresh one or two weeks after purchase, bottle forwarded to me by mcberko, thanks a lot Matt
The look: Cloudy blonde body topped by a medium white head with medium retention
In long: Nose of citrus fruits, bananas and pine needles. Taste has a lot of soft bready malts, a bit of honey, medium sweetness sensation. The focus of this beer is the hops and they have a strong personality with bitter grapefruits, pine needles and yellowed grass. Bitterness is short and sharp and of medium-high intensity. There is a good amount of sweetness on the attack but it is quickly brushed away by the generous hopping leaving a semi-dry sensation. Nothing original here, I’ve had similar IPAs many many times before, but the execution of this one is superior. The Yellow Wolf, another Darwin prediction, the most successful predator of sheeps feeding in dandelions field, and if you’ve never seen one it is because they are just that damn good.

Bomber. Poured a clear copper, with a fluffy white head and good lacing. Smells of pine, citrus, caramel, and grapefruit. Taste is sweet caramel upfront, some citrus and grapefruit, with a moderately bitter finish. Mouthfeel is thin to medium with moderate carbonation. Overall, not a bad IIPA.

650ml bomber pours a golden orangeish color with a 2 finger white head with good retention leaving some thin spotted lacing on the glass. Aroma is bold citrus and earthy notes with caramel. Taste is bold citrus and earthy hop bitterness with a solid caramel sweet backbone. Medium body and decent carbonation give a nice mouthfeel. Alcohol is well hidden. A good IPA that I rather enjoyed tasting.

Bomber. Pale orange and gold colored with a thin layer of sudsy off-white head. Mostly pine and citrus in the nose with a bit of caramel sweetness. The taste starts out with a mild dose of grapefruit, tangerine and hops resin along with some citrus rind, bready malt and alcohol flavors toward the end. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied and moderately carbonated with some grassy, astringent bitterness and citrus in the finish. Decent but there’s not quite enough balance or potent hops flavors to merit a repeat purchase.
