3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber. Big hop flavor with light caramel malt in the background. Grapefruit and other citrus comes out towards the end. Bitter finish with a big alcohol burn that spoils a pretty good Imperial India Pale Ale.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from Brewforia. Pours light amber gold with a creamy near white head. Moderate grapefruit aroma. Near full bodied. Flavor is light caramel with a great deal of hop - which seems to be grapefruit and floral. Itís only moderately harsh, and itís quite bitter. Nice drink thisín.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap @ Alameda. Hazy orange pour with a persistent, short white head leaving heavy lace. Pine, malt and ethanol nose. Medium-heavy body with moderate carbonation. Caramel, ethanol, grapefruit, whisky, toast and pine. Long, bitter finish with a touch more caramel. Too boozy for my tastes.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
A: The beer pours a clear golden orange color with a finger of white head.
S: Smells pretty mediocre (and I might be a bit generous there). Some floral and lightly spicy hops with tons of bread and pale malts. A hint of citrus and even more sweetness, mostly toffee with a touch of caramel.
T: Fairly bready in terms of the malt flavor with some grassy hops and a light floral and citrus note. There is tons of toffee, a little bit of caramel, and a very stale feeling about the beer. Pretty "blah".
M: Medium bodied with a medium level of carbonation.
O: Another lackluster IPA from the PNW, unfortunately. Wasnít a fan of this one.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled on tap at IIPA fest at Saraveza, pours golden yellow with fine white lacing. Aroma of citrus hops, pine and resin. Flavour is citrus heavy and some honey. Well-balanced. Pleasantly bitter.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled on tap for IIPA fest @ Saraveza, pours cloudy golden with a small head. Aroma of piney hops, light tropical fruits and caramel. Flavour of buttery, resinous hops, caramel and bready malts. Pretty standard albeit well-made IIPA.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle courtesy of my cousinís trip to Portland a few weeks back. Pours an awesome orange/amber hazy color with a creamy head. (Personal like with a DIPA) After having their single IPA be old and underwhelming I didnít have much promise for this one. Turns out the nose is full of hops and just a bit of dankness. (Another like) The taste is very bitter up front with some light malt followed by a great grapefruit, pine, resin taste to finish. Somewhat difficult to drink but again something I enjoy with a DIPA as I donít want to pound these beers. The mouthfeel is slightly viscous but to a pleasant level and the hops help cut that in opinion. Overall, a very good DIPA. Not ranking with the elite but something Iíd love to have again and would seek out if it was a regular offering around these parts.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Thanks to Arbitrator for sharing this bomber. Hazy golden in color with a small white head. The aroma is pretty nice for a DIPA, very citric and somewhat resinous. Good flavor as well, with orange, tangerine, and grapefruit, as well as a bit of pine. Medium-bodied, not at all syrupy and actually refreshing, with average-plus carbonation and a good hop oil bite. Overall tasty and enjoyable.
