3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught at Maloneís Urban Drinkery, Vancouver
Hazy amber color; medium sized creamy head. Moderate aroma of malt and hop. Decent malt flavor, strong hopping and strong bitterness, but somehow with stale qualities; the resins are still present, the fruits less. The final is also medium dry.
Powerful but not impressive.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Fruity, lightly spicy, blonde...the strength is quite evident, good balance though, clean pale malts, citrus, bitterness, just a nice balanced example.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bomber from Brewforia. Pours light amber gold with a creamy near white head. Moderate grapefruit aroma. Near full bodied. Flavor is light caramel with a great deal of hop - which seems to be grapefruit and floral. Itís only moderately harsh, and itís quite bitter. Nice drink thisín.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
A: The beer pours a clear golden orange color with a finger of white head.
S: Smells pretty mediocre (and I might be a bit generous there). Some floral and lightly spicy hops with tons of bread and pale malts. A hint of citrus and even more sweetness, mostly toffee with a touch of caramel.
T: Fairly bready in terms of the malt flavor with some grassy hops and a light floral and citrus note. There is tons of toffee, a little bit of caramel, and a very stale feeling about the beer. Pretty "blah".
M: Medium bodied with a medium level of carbonation.
O: Another lackluster IPA from the PNW, unfortunately. Wasnít a fan of this one.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A hazed golden DIPA with a thin creamy lacing light mocha head. In aroma, a great classic IPA with loads of piney and floral hops, citrus pulp. In mouth, a nice citrus pulp with light floral hops, light alcohol warmth, a bit on the light side, but good. On tap at Courtyard Marriott Portland, Oct. 5 2012.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, shared with Parksy and Grippitis. The body is more golden than amber, hazy, with a thick lasting white head. Aroma quite hoppy, grapefruit, grass, a bit of pine. Malts are a bit chewy, hops are a bit astringent, grapefruit and green grass flavours. Very bitter. This lacked something that was hard to pin down, and it didnít quite come together for me. Iím still having trouble letting go of the Stone 16th Anniversary IIPA I had a couple of days ago.
