3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On draught at 2013 North American Organic Brewers Festival. Cloudy golden color. Similar citrus hop aroma as original Yellow Wolf. Taste is citrus hoppiness with some coconut and lemongrass notes. Was anticipating more of a spice profile.

Tap at Belmont Station, PDX. Aroma of citrus, faint ginger, and hints of tropical fruit. Flavors are similar, with hints of coconut husk, centennial(?), and a touch of mango/papaya. Good, but could be a bit louder.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Hop & Vine in Burnaby. Lucious amber color on this beauty. Zesty fruits hit you (or me) right up front. Unusual! Citrus for sure, but something more there. Hard to define. Very refreshing. It’s fall by now, but this would be a perfect summer beer.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma of Thai spices (not sure what exactly though), ginger, citrusy hops and caramel malt to back. Flavour features the regular Yellow Wolf upfront, with lots of the citrusy hops blasting through, followed by all the spices, which longer on the palate. The spices are not overbearing and serve to nicely compliment the IIPA traits. Very good version of Yellow Wolf.
