xmarcnolanx (681), Kirkwood, Missouri, USA Feb 28, 2007 Not a bad amber ale, considering the rest of their selection. It had a medium, caramel body with a slight citrus. I mean, there was nothing at all remarkable about the beer, it was just not as full of an amber ale as it should have been.
sneagrams3 (1464), St. Louis, Missouri, USA Apr 15, 2008 Tasted 4/14/08. Draft from the brewpub. Filtered with a dark amber hue. Off whhite clinging head. Another diasytl bomb. Caramel and buttered toast. Smooth and medium bodied, but meh... Dogbrick (2358), Columbus, Ohio, USA Feb 29, 2008 Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a clear orange/amber color with a thin beige head that diminishes quickly. Rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is mildly malty with touches of citrus and hops. Light-bodied with grainy malt and caramel flavors, and subtle piney hops present as well. The finish is malt and toffee with a lingering mild hops aftertaste. Decent overall. DrnkMcDermott (1597), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA Oct 31, 2007 Draft sampler. Malty amber smell with a good copper color. First beer I’ve had here that shows American hops; not at APA strength, bit a bit of citrus and pine to make it interesting. 37steel (186), St. Charles, Illinois, USA Sep 27, 2007 On tap at the brewpub. Deep amber with a nice off-white head. Aroma of caramel / crystal malt. Nicely full-bodied. Little bitterness. Good session-type beer. Braudog (3464), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Jul 18, 2007 Draft 12 oz’er at the brewpub. Dark amber with a lightly laced top. Caramel aroma. Nice and like their other beers this is full-bodied. Light toffee with a twinkle of caramel, just an easy drinking beer. A metallic caramel comes on stronger as it goes. (#3031, 7/17/2007)
