This beer surprised me too. Granted, it is an extract blackberry beer, and I was not holding out much hope, but again, solid taste for the style. The big knocks against it are the appearance, which is completely lacking any wheat characteristics. In fact, this looks like a pale lager in every aspect. Additionally, there were way too many hops in this beer (Holy shit, did I just say that?). By the look and the taste, I would almost say that they took a pale lager and added extract. I did not taste any wheat, nor did I see any wheat-like characteristics to the beer- either in the head or body. Still, the blackberry was nice, and the drink was thirst quenching. 2 Oz sample. Don’t think I’d order this shit by the glass! Oh, by the way, 2 dollars for a 20+ oz pint is fucking amazing.

Pour is a pale gold with a white head. Aroma is decent with lots of berry coming out. Flavor is weaker with only a fraction of the fruit there. Its more grainy than anything. Another fruit beer that smells better than it tastes.
