Dogbrick (2209), Columbus, Ohio, USA Feb 29, 2008 Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a clear pale golden color with a thin and creamy off-white head that burns away slowly. Spotty lacing. The aroma has light hops and fruit with a touch of grainy malt. Light-bodied and mildly hoppy with some earthy malt flavor. The finish is short and mildly bitter. Alright as a starter beer for the brewpub, but pretty uninteresting overall.
sneagrams3 (1367), St. Louis, Missouri, USA Apr 15, 2008 Tasted 4/14/08. Draft from the brewpub. Filtered with a bright golden hue. White lacing head. Crisp bready nose. Light bodied and slightly diasytl. Minimal hops and mildly crisp. But off. Tart with mild effervescence. Standard, but off or just old. Drnk_McDermott (1537), Downers Grove, Illinois, USA Oct 31, 2007 Sample. Clear macrobeer color. A stiff lager head. Maybe it’s just being served fresh, but this sits well on the tongue. Light and insubstantial, sure, but well turned with no off flavors (all malt, perhaps?). A bit of hop bitterness. Slight yeasty taste at the finish, but nice introductory beer in this Bud town. Now listed as "Platinum Blonde Lager." vyvvy (1607), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA Nov 15, 2006 Pours yellow / light gold with a wispy white head. Aroma has grainy pale malts with light sweetness and light hoppiness. Medium / light body with some sharp carbonation. Taste has lots of graininess and grassy notes. The malt has some sweetness, but not too much. Some saaz hops on the finish. A good lager. Terminus (1955), Illinois, USA Oct 29, 2006 tap at brewpub-bright clear yellow with a small white fizzy head. light nose-light grains, and light grassy hops. crisp flavors and palate-sweet grains, lager yeast and spicy hops all well balanced.
