esjaygee (918), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Mar 23, 2008 Draught at Alandale Brewpub. Amber in color with a very faint caramel aroma. Hints of caramel with a semi-bitter finish. Kind of bland. Dogbrick (2358), Columbus, Ohio, USA Feb 29, 2008 Sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear orange color with a medium thin light beige head that diminishes quickly. Latticework lacing on the glass. Mild malt and caramel in the nose with a touch of hops. Medium body with sweet malt and spice flavoring, with touches of hops and fruit poking through here and there. The finish is mildly malty with a lingering sweetness left over. Just average overall. sneagrams3 (1464), St. Louis, Missouri, USA May 13, 2007 Sampled at the Heritage Festival. Filtered with a golden amber hue. Spotty white head. Mild caramel cereal nose. Mild and light to medium bodied. Nice breadiness. Touch metallic. Meh... kwoeltje (1230), Manchester, Missouri, USA Mar 30, 2007 (draught at the brewpub) light-medium amber. Moderate head with a little lace. Mild malt aroma. Flavor is malt, a bit of hops, not sweet. A good session beer. xmarcnolanx (681), Kirkwood, Missouri, USA Feb 28, 2007 This was not a good example of style. It was slightly hay-like. It had a very grainy taste, like vyvvy said. I just think it was not very well made. A decent mild hop and smooth beer, just not very good overall.
