COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship beer is based on a turn-of-the-century recipe that quenched the thirst of miners during the Klondike Gold Rush. Smooth and richly malty, this altbier goes well with any meal.

In bottle on Alaskan cruise. Nice amber color. Lots of caramel, no bitterness. Highly drinkable - more like a nut brown ale. Very good if you’re in the mood for this style.

Pours clear amber. Mainly malty (caramel, toast) and fruity aroma. Roasted malt even more prominent in the flavour, along with cherries and somewhat grassy hops. Nice body -- too bad the finish was somewhat thin. Really thirst-quenching as well. A pretty good, non-experimental alt.

On Tap- Served a clear amber color with a decent head and some lacing. Roasted grain & malt with a hint of sweetness. Light malt flavor with a slight sweetness that continues to a mild bitterness and a dry finish. Moderate body that is smooth and well balanced. Very enjoyable and good when having more than one. This is one of my go to beers when working in Alaska.

Pours a clear amber with orange hues. Aroma of molasses and roasted grain with a hint of floral hops. Flavor is roasted grain and molasses. Easy drinking.

bottle. Pours a ruby colored amber with gray bubbly head. Very nice looking brew. Aroma of malts, slight fruitiness like cherry, subtle cheese, almost smells like a biere de garde or old ale. Taste is smooth, balanced, with a malt cherry like flavor on the finish. Medium to full bodied, smooth, creamy, sessionable. This is very good, exceeded my expectations.

Aroma of grass, caramel, hay, and some citrus. Great looking head with nice lacing, beautiful amber color. Taste is malt forward, lightly sweet, somewhat salty, tart, with mild bitterness. Very refreshing with a clean palate, medium body, thin to creamy texture, average carbonation, and mellow finish. A nice session beer and consistent with the German Altbier style.

Drank a few at 36,000 feet courtesy of Alaska Air. Poured well (for the situation). Certainly was a treat compared to other in flight options.

Got it from a friend when we were inthe middle of nowhere in San Bernardino California in a very hot day.Dude that places its lke a ghost town with just lowriders chilling in the streets.Anyway the beer itself its pretty average amber a hint of caramel at first and salty a last. What i liked best its the body has a really nice amber color woth a lot of a tan foam for head. But the aroma its not that penetrating and the aftertaste its quite boring. However it was OK
