COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship beer is based on a turn-of-the-century recipe that quenched the thirst of miners during the Klondike Gold Rush. Smooth and richly malty, this altbier goes well with any meal.

Had this many years ago on tap out west and remembered enjoying it thoroughly. Bottle: Amber pour with a thick light tan head. aroma is toasted malt, caramel, slightly nutty, light woody hop. flavour is toasted malt. medium sweetness. caramel/toffee. Could use a bit more balancing bitterness in the finish.

Draft at Dad & Dude’s. Pours an attractive deep reddish copper with an off-white head. The nose is sweet, some grassy hop notes and a big malt body. On tasting, it needs more bitterness as it comes across on the sweeter side. Pretty nice malt profile with melanoidins and soft bread crust, but the sweetness is a bit much. More hops would really make this shine. Okay.

Bottle. Pours a translucent amber with an inch head that recedes quickly. Aroma of toffee and caramel. Nice malty backbone with a balanced spicy hop component. Good carbonation. Lighter body.

355mL bottle poured a rich brown amber color with a nice off-white head with nice retention and lacing. Aroma is roasted malts and some citrus and floral hops. Taste is roasted malty sweetness with some nice hop bitter finish. This beer is nicely balanced, has a nice mouthfeel and is a pleasure to drink.

On tap at The Yard House in Denver, CO. Reddish-orange pour with a creamy off-white head. Aroma of bready malts and light floral hops. Nice, perfectly balanced flavor that is none too hoppy and none too sweet. Very sessionable and quite nice.
