COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship beer is based on a turn-of-the-century recipe that quenched the thirst of miners during the Klondike Gold Rush. Smooth and richly malty, this altbier goes well with any meal.

Reddish amber with fizzy head. Aroma of caramel, light hops, and a little fruit. Flavor is similar with some citrus. A good thirst-quenching smooth beer.

Draft pour at brat stop. Clear red with white head. Smooth and wheaty. Light. Mild citrus flavor. Carmel notes. I like it for an amber beer. They serve this right in a frosted cold mug

On draught. Pours red with a fine creamy head. Aroma is light caramel. Taste is dry, slight caramel, little hops. Thin mouthfeel.

Ambrée sombre, faible carbonation. Mousse orangée, peu persistante. Nez simple, sans grand intérêt. Goût malté, très peu houblonné, assez faible et sucré (trop), rappelant un peu celui du mou de raisin. Pas top...

On tap at Seatec. Clear amber pour with an off white head. Malty aromas. Big malty presence with mild non-descript hop notes. Average body and mouthfeel.

Had this beer also on Saturday and have had it many times before. Its an amber pour with a great flavor. Is not over powering but easy drinking.

Rated from notes taken on 7 April 2012 -- Pretty good aroma, appearance and mouthfeel. Taste almost seems like a combo of an American Amber and a German Alt. Interesting, drinks well.

Nice amber beer. Good appearance color. Real good overall with a good finish. A little lighter than I prefer.

355ml bottle. Clear, amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Hoppy aroma, slightly fruity, hints of pine. Taste is hoppy, slightly fruity, piney, cautious caramel malty basis. An unspectacular beer for all-day use.
