This was an old favorite of mine, but Iím having a hard time locating it now that Iíve moved to the East Coast. It has been many years since Iíve had it so my rating is based on memory.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
The beer pours with an average reddish brown hue to it, the tan head dissapates quickly and leaves behind minimal lacing. The beer has a mild caramel, roasted malt smell to it but its very mellow. The taste is decent with a nice roasted malt and slightly sweet caramel taste and finishes somewhat creamy. The mouthfeel is decent with the creamy, mild sweet flavor and the beer is well carbonated. Overall, this is a slightly better than average amber ale, but doesnt blow you away....but can drink easily.

355 ml bottle. Pours a rather clear-lloking red amber with a short lived white head. Aroma is earthy, woody, maple. Flavor is cherry, caramel, some maple, cereals. Finish is earthy, hints of grass. Lingering caramel. Medium body, average carbonation. Good.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Serving type: on-tap
Appearance- Golden Amber with a golden head light lacewing
Aroma- Carmel with a slight malt
T/P - Sweet Carmel taste down very smooth and light a dry finish
Overall- This is one of my favorite beers; although I prefer it on tap I am defiantly not disappointed with it in bottles. This is a beer I almost always have on hand
