Our flagship beer is based on a turn-of-the-century recipe that quenched the thirst of miners during the Klondike Gold Rush. Smooth and richly malty, this altbier goes well with any meal.

12 oz bottle from Tipsy’s. Amber, light brown and clear appearance with an off-white head and minimal lacing. Aroma and flavor is malty and lightly bitter with notes of toffee, chocolate, caramel and earth. Average body with a smooth feel and a rich finish.

A slight woody, malty aroma from this crystal clear deep copper beer with an off-white head. Lightly sweet caramel with a touch of milk chocolate is the predominate flavor here. Nice herbaceous hop flavor to balance this. There’s a very light nuttiness to this with some more woody notes. A well made, easy drinking amber and very food-friendly.

A very easy drinking amber beer. Not a lot of flavor with a pilsner tastin finish. Smells like a pilsner. Had at steamboat. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear red amber with thin head and decent lacing. Aroma is mild with sweet malts and mild hops. Taste is sweet with light malts and a little nutty, toffee, caramel in there. Good mouthfeel and carbonation. Not bad at all.

Appearance: dark ruby color, very clear, light tan head that pours pretty small Aroma: creamy maltiness, milk, some caramel, Taste: very malty, has a nice grain finish, butter, caramel, Palate: lively carbonation, malty aftertaste, leaves mouth wet, moderate mouthfeel Overall: amber usually leaves me wanting more but this is a nice one, has some grainyness to the end and a bit of a complexity to it ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bomber in Vegas, thin feel, medium body, mild brew, well carbonated. Overall decent, agree with others, definitely easy brew to drink for someone trying different brews.
