COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship beer is based on a turn-of-the-century recipe that quenched the thirst of miners during the Klondike Gold Rush. Smooth and richly malty, this altbier goes well with any meal.

Clear amber colour with a beige head. Malty, sweet aroma with fruity and light hoppy notes. Sweet fruity flavor with a light dry and hoppy note.

UPDATED: MAY 4, 2008 One of the first Ambers I REALLY enjoyed and got me into exploring beer. If you ever get a chance to visit Juneau, visit this brewery

UPDATED: JAN 22, 2008 Looks nicer than it tastes, with an unsurprising clear dark amber filling the glass. Smells malty and nutty, tastes the same with some slight caramel. Light hops are welcome. The malt is pretty good in this one, pretty flavorful and not too watery. It’s not a beer that’s going to change your life but I like it a lot more than the other ambers I’ve had.

This is a nice amber; medium brown color, malty sweet nose with a hint of hops, flavor is very similar to the nose, medium body, finshes a little bitter but not overwhelming.

Aroma is a nice caramel like malt scent. Color is a slightly hazy brown with good carbonation and a thin head. Taste is sweet and malty. Starting with a medium body it goes down with a smooth creamy feel. Finish comes on with a malty mouth feel that turns sweet and ends with a mild bitterness. Its a nice malty brew that comes off easy and well balanced.

Have had this beer on tap, 12oz bottle and 22oz bottle. A good go to beer that can usually be found at any local bar or liquor store that doesnt carry many craft brews. Deep amber color with small white head, carmel malt flavors and little hop aroma.

Thanks to Fordest for this one- Pours a Rich, orange amber color with a some nice head to it. Smell is nice and toasty sweet malt and toffee. Mouthfeel is very smooth and creamy. Tastes is good and heavily on the malty side of ambers. No real sign of hops to speak of, but it is a nice, tasty easy drinking beer. I definitely enjoyed this one.
