COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship beer is based on a turn-of-the-century recipe that quenched the thirst of miners during the Klondike Gold Rush. Smooth and richly malty, this altbier goes well with any meal.

Alaskan Amber is probably my favorite amber-style beer. Wonderfull flavor, without being overpowering. Good aroma, and very smooth.

Bottle from Fred Meyer, Portland. Chestnut with lasting beige head. Faint sour, staleish malt aroma. Good toffeeish malt in mouth, toffee and moderate hop finish. Very nice alt style beer.

Pours a nice copper with a decent tan head. Sweet malty aroma, mostly caramel. Nice sweetness, easy to drink. Palate is a little thin and fizzy. OG has the bestest mom in the whole wide world! Thank her for me.

On Tap @ San Diego Brewing Company. Copper color with thin off white head. Slight aroma of caramel maltiness. Mild flavor with some caramel maltiness mixed with water. Disappointing beer.

Very drinkable, easy-going brew. Moderatly light body with pleasing aftertaste. Much better than any commericial swills.

tap: clear amber. Aroma is malty with notes of bread, caramel and a hint of hops. Flavor is not really like the other Altbiers I’ve had. Very carbonated mouthfeel, doesn’t really have that slippery texture. A decent beer, but came off as flawed.

Bottled. Amber color, weak head. Sweet and mellow aroma, slightly caramelly, nice bisquity maltiness. Mellow flavor wit good toasted bisquity character. Light bitterness. Good malt backbone but falls short on bitterness.

UPDATED: MAR 7, 2007 A nice mellow amber beer that is pretty smooth and doesn’t really have any aftertaste at all. A nice color and aroma too it.
