legion242 (1516), Richardson, Texas, USA Feb 14, 2006 Alaskan Airlines- good malt presence that dominates and satisfies. Low hop character was much appreciated.
dpjuart (549), Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA Aug 19, 2008 22 oz. bomber, 8/11/08 - Pour light red with orange/amber hues. Foamy white head. Good carb. Smells of apple and slight caramel. Taste is much the same, apple and caramel with mild hop bitter and crispness at the end. Maybe a touch of chocolate in there. Nothing special, but not bad. anders37 (2563), Malmö, Sweden Aug 13, 2008 Bottle. Pour a clear amber color with a longlasting off-white head. Malty caramel aroma with some hoppy hints. Sweetish malty caramel flavor. Fruity malty caramel finish. jthg (27), Austin, Texas, USA Aug 11, 2008 The beer welcomes you with a yeasty and slightly fruity aroma. Very appealing. And, then you taste it. I could easily pound a couple on a hot day - very smooth and refreshing. This isn’t a beer to be savored. It is a beer to be drank.
Just a readers note. This is NOT a american amber. It is an alt beer. Don’t expect sort of body/malt/hop notes to this beer. NoiZe (875), Zeist, Netherlands Aug 11, 2008 Tasted somewhere along my trip through the States.
