tap: clear amber. Aroma is malty with notes of bread, caramel and a hint of hops. Flavor is not really like the other Altbiers I’ve had. Very carbonated mouthfeel, doesn’t really have that slippery texture. A decent beer, but came off as flawed.

Nov 28, 2008 Good amber pour, decent head. Not overly powerful to smell, but has some interesting carmel, fruity malt qualities. Fairly well balanced, on the chewy side. Solid brew but not extremely noteworthy.

Nov 21, 2008 I have to say that this beer is a little disappointing. It has a light color and a light white head. The disappointing thing is that the beer is also extremely light on flavor. The closest thing I can compare it to is a Michelob Ultra Amber. This beer is easy to drink, but doesn’t have a whole lot to offer in the flavor category.

Nov 21, 2008 02.11.2008. 0.35l Bottle. On the plane to Seattle. Colour is brown. Aroma is a little sweet and malty. Nicely hopped!

Nov 21, 2008 From a 22 oz. bottle purchased locally. Aroma is fruity - apples with some plum. Color is a burnt amber orange with a tan head that went away fast. Malty, toasty, some biscuit and evenly balanced with bitterness. Medium bodied and finishes dry but just sits on the tongue. Still an easy drinking beer.

Nov 20, 2008 Pours a nice amber color with reddish hue. Nice balance of malt and hops. I like the alt beer twist.
