COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship beer is based on a turn-of-the-century recipe that quenched the thirst of miners during the Klondike Gold Rush. Smooth and richly malty, this altbier goes well with any meal.

Drat @ Sahara hotel Las Vegas. Pours copper, white head. Aroma/taste, malty, fruity notes and hops / pine, some light caramel with a bitter finish. Not bad, ending leans toward a caramel mouthfeel with some bitter grains. Not bad, more drinkable than most of the other beers Vegas hotels had to offer.

Pours a translucent amber with an average creamy off white head that left some lacing. Aroma of malty sweetness, some nuts, clean, some caramel. Flavors of the same...reminded me of Yeungling Lager...but better.

Bottle pours deep amber with a quickly diminishing head and lively carbonation.   Lightly roasted malts greet the nose.   I get a grassy/oat tinge as well.   Immediate hop kick on first sip quickly giving way to a malty aftertaste.   A slight sweet grain flavor on finishing.   Lacks good lacing, fairly full bodied.   Tiz a good Alt.

Bottle. Dark amber with lasting head. Light caramel and hops aroma. Nice mouthfeel. Light caramel flavour with hop finish. Nice pub pint. Works everywhere that the Pale did not.

UPDATED: SEP 7, 2004 Rerate Had again up in Alaska - much fresher and it is a style I am really beginning to appreciate with is subtleness and sweet bitterness Original 3.5Had on tap at the Copper Sky Grill in Seattle. Has a pleasant, sparkly light copper appearance with a decent off white head with a wee bit of lacing. No real noticeable aroma. Has a bit of an sweet caramel flavor to it - very drinkable. One of the best Alts I have had. Loses a bit of its luster near the end however.

Bottled. Amber color, weak head. Sweet and mellow aroma, slightly caramelly, nice bisquity maltiness. Mellow flavor wit good toasted bisquity character. Light bitterness. Good malt backbone but falls short on bitterness.

Amber, as the name suggests. Big head that disipates quickly. Faint aroma of caramel. Caramel flavors, too. Peppery finish, with a faint note of smoke, as well.

This orange beer poured with a decent beige head and a bread aroma. The malt flavor is too thin, even for an altbier, but it is thicker on the palate. Perhaps an ok session beer.
