COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship beer is based on a turn-of-the-century recipe that quenched the thirst of miners during the Klondike Gold Rush. Smooth and richly malty, this altbier goes well with any meal.

On tap at La Comida in Cody, WY. Pours a medium amber with a medium off-white head. Very nice caramel and malt aroma. Flavor followed the aroma. Great finish, very smooth. Wish this was available on the East Coast.

a nice looking amber pour, it’s slightly sweet in nose and flavor. For a flagship, mass appeal beer, it’s pretty darn good. had it on draft at the brewery.

Pours amber, no way! with a small white head. Very fruity taste and aroma, with a malty kick at the start, i really like the german alt malt style of this. Medium mouthfeel, with a lightly hopped finish. Decent amber.

Bottle. Poured a clear amber color with a very small off white head. Aroma of caramel, toasted bread and nuts. Flavor had many of the same components, but with a touch of sweetness and a more prominent fruit presence. Dry in the finish, and not that great of an after taste. Flavor was pretty mild and just ok overall.

(bottle - 12 oz) Copper in color with a good white head. Aroma is malty with some caramel and some light hops. Flavor begins rather hoppy and blends well with a smooth and malty middle. Finishes clean and crisp and leaves a light bitter aftertaste. Pretty tasty.

Schlafly Repeal of Prohibition fest 2011 - Pours amber (obviously) with a tannish head. The aroma has sweet malt, brown sugar, toasty malt and an overall richness. It has a medium body that is rich with lots of gentle carbonation. Th taste starts with the aroma traits along with breadiness and more richness and brown sugar. The finish has some spice and more richness. Sad I didn’t get more notes, but the brutal weather made the notes short. This was a really nice alt & hope I get to try more at some point.

bottle - Pours light amber with a thin white head. It has a faint caramel malt aroma. The flavor is also mainly of caramel malt with a light hops and a light body. It’s actually pretty good for what it is.
