COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship beer is based on a turn-of-the-century recipe that quenched the thirst of miners during the Klondike Gold Rush. Smooth and richly malty, this altbier goes well with any meal.

Amber color, off white head, spices in aroma. Creamy palate with toasted malt flavor. I very much enjoyed this though I don’t recall what the alt style is supposed to be like.

Bottle. Pours dark reddish brown with a dense offwhite head. Aroma of sweet roasted malt, fruit. Taste sweet fruit, apples, grassy and floral hops, light caramel. Medium body, lively sprinkling carbonation, slightly bitter finish. Overall abit on the sweet side, but easy drinking, not bad. 281110

This is a very good drinker. Good color of rich golden orange and light brown highlights. Good smell of malt and a solid fresh tone with some hop presence. Taste is quite good, very smooth, nice malty back. Good medium body feel smooth malty tones all over. Drinkable indeed.

Small tiny head that goes flat quick. Brown and red hue that isn’t easily seen through. Very faint nose but has a soft floral aroma. Flavor is mostly caramel and honey. Well balance of malt and hops. Not as good as i thought it would be.

Crushed with Jakebra at Falling Rock. Musty, malty nose. Kinda thin bodied, but some nice smooth flavor and a bit of hops makes it kinda aight.

Why can’t all their beers be as tasty as the wonderful Smoked Porter?
