COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship beer is based on a turn-of-the-century recipe that quenched the thirst of miners during the Klondike Gold Rush. Smooth and richly malty, this altbier goes well with any meal.

Had at jacks in San fransisco fishermans warf area. Poured a clear amber ruby red with creamy white head. Aroma pretty malty and sweet with slight citric hop undertone. Flavor is very smooth, a bit creamy, and watery with slight citric hop. Refreshing, but nothing outstanding.

Clear orange-amber color, really small quickly gone head. Light malt nose. Flavor starts sweet and buttery and finishes sweet, almost too sweet. Needs a touch of hop IMHO.

Poured a dark amber with a meager white head from the tap at Papago. Faint aroma of red grapes and apples in the nose that carries into the flavor, which prominently features the taste of caramel. Medium bodied with an enjoyable sweetness, but nothing special.

Bottled. Beer is clear, medium caramel-brown. Head is small, white, frothy, mostly diminishes quickly.
Malty with light notes of toasted grain, caramel, shortbread; Light hop notes of herbal resin/pine; Light note of dough; Trace miscellaneous note of wet stones.
The flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter, lightly acidic with a long, moderately bitter, lightly sweet, trace acidic finish.
The body is medium, the texture is watery and the carbonation is lively.

Small head that vanishes almost immediately. Nice amber color. Malty aroma that is almost syrup. Flavor is downright flat. Weak finish, with no hop flavor that I can taste. Horrible.
