COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship beer is based on a turn-of-the-century recipe that quenched the thirst of miners during the Klondike Gold Rush. Smooth and richly malty, this altbier goes well with any meal.

The label described this beer as an "Alt Style," and while this seemed a bit of a disconnect to me, I thought this beer was quite good. Appearance was a brilliant red-brown with great amounts of white head with good staying power. Aroma was malty, and a bit reminiscent to me of the way a bock smells. Flavor was also "bock malt" flavor with lots of unexpected chocolate taste. Mouthfeel was good but almost coarse and chalky, which seemed to help rub the chocolate taste into my taste buds. I found this beer to be highly drinkable.

Very disappointing (especially after we finagled our way into getting an after-hours beer from the lodge at Lake Crescent. Boring at best, bad aftertaste at worst.

Caramel pour with a white head. Aroma is caramel malt. Taste is caramel malt. It had a dry aftertaste. A rather enjoyable beer.

Bottle @ 30,000 ft on Alaska Airlines on my way to Seattle. Poured a clear amber color with a medium sized beige head. Some roasted malt and caramel notes in the aroma. Flavor is decent with a mixture of mostly malt and a bit of hops. Quite easy to drink, especially on a 6 hour flight from FL to Seattle, WA.

Murky in color with a small head. Aroma is mostly malty with a faint hint of floral hops. The taste is nice. Malty without being overbearing and the hops give a nice finishing crispness.

Bottle. Poured a clear copper color with a thick, rocky off-white head that slowly receded and left some spotty lacing. Aroma of lightly toasted caramel malts, a light metallic aroma, and some light earthy hops. Smooth, lightly sweet entry with a bit of ice tea flavor that leads into a light fruitiness and some soft caramel that transitions into a light noble hoppiness on the finish. Low carbonation and smooth on the palate. Definitely an easy drinker.

Nice alt. Toasted and nutty malts with a crisp hop balance. Very thick mouthfeel as well. Very well done, just not enough oomph with the malts but a fine brew none the less.

22oz bottle. Pours clear amber in color with white head. Aroma malty, sweet and caramel. Taste malty and light hops with bitter finish.
