Nice! I normally go for dark brews, so this one was quite a suprise. Spiced right and nicely balanced- colour was a golden-brown with a lasting fizz. Mouthfeel was a little thin. Easy to drink and nice all-round.

I tried it for the first time and was almost impressed. Would like to try it again, but it would have to before the other 4 that I tried that day.

A nice beer, nothing offensive for those who are used to pilsners, but tastes and finishes nice

Usual appearance, good initial head and good lacing, amber colored (not as deep a copper as I like in an alt). Malts were mildly sweet and moderately rich

Dark head and bold flavor. Caramel flavor with dark oats comes out with a strong aroma. Overall a pleasing and well finishing Amber.

I’m currently in alaska and read up on the breweries before I made my trip out here. All i head was alaskan amber this alaskan amber that, almost like hearing about fat tire all the time since I live in dnever. I thought for sure it would be a low quality run of the mill amber, but I was presently suprised. Although I cannot say it was one of the best ambers I have had, it was good. Sits well on the palate, and wasnt too floraly(is that a word) but it was a very balanced beer for a microbrew, I guess you might say this is there safe bet for not going out of business.....

This is like the Summer Ale but with some more maltiness and more frothy. Thought the flavor was very good - a good mix between a lighter ale and a darker beer like a porter.

Beer pours a rich orange/copper color with an off white sticky head. initial flavors are fruity and tangy, with hints of citrus, in particular lemon, with s dry spicy hoppiness that blends the first flavors nicely with the buttery, toasty biscuity flavors that come second. Mouthfeel is smooth and rich, yet drinkable. overall a very delicious beer. This is what Fat Tire wishes it could be...
