3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 DuffMan (4241) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - NOV 18, 2006
Bought this at a hole-in-the-wall beerstore in Vegas, just off the strip. I was expecting a straightforward friendly-but-dull amber-- and I was pretty blown away! Hazy orange-brown amber with a spicy butterscotch-caramel aroma. Lightly fruity with rich buttery malt and spices, this was a very flavourful beer. A little on the sweet side, but very good.

(Bottle, Stockholm Beer Festival, 6 Oct) Amber colour with small off-white head. Malty, nutty nose with notes of spicy hops. Malty taste with nuts, dark fruit, dried apricots and a balanced hoppy character in the finish. An allright amber ale but lacking something extra.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 mabel (4129) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - SEP 15, 2008
[1638-20080830] 355mL bottle. Grainy slightly skunky fish malt aroma. Clear, amber orange body with a medium-lasting foamy off-white head. Grainy malt flavour has some weird yeast in it. Medium body. Drinkable, not bad.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 thedm (4116) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - DEC 26, 2005
This bottled brew poured a small sized head of fine to medium sized of unnoted length white colored bubbles that left behind a good lacing. The body contained soft carbonation, was transparent and caramel brown in color. Its aroma contained notes of sweet malty bready . Its mouth feel is initially tingly with a palate and a very mild bock aftertaste. Its flavor contained sweet malt mild cherry notes. Strange.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Grovlam (4106) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - JUN 20, 2007
Bottle. Small fizzy head that very quickly disappeared. Clear and flat looking body with an amber color. Aroma of cookie, toffee, grain, peach and fruit. Medium bodied with an average carbonation. Moderated sweet fruity flavor with light bitterness. Finish off sweet and fruity.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 badgerben (4092) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - OCT 15, 2004
UPDATED: SEP 23, 2005 Burnt Beer Night: Amber color (I should hope so) with a thin head. Fruity aroma. Taste was fairly grainy along with some regular malt tastes. A little dry on the backside, but quite a tasty brew. Update: This time I found more maple in the aroma. The taste is still predominantly grainy, but has a hit of rye or pumpernickel.

draft@ Alaska Lodge SEA. Clear amber color with a thin head. Spicy sweet caramel aroma with mild grainy malt. Flavor mirrors the aroma with lightly sweet n’ spicy caramel and grainy malt grist. Nicely bitter hoppy finish.
