COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship beer is based on a turn-of-the-century recipe that quenched the thirst of miners during the Klondike Gold Rush. Smooth and richly malty, this altbier goes well with any meal.

I thought this was a great beer. I really liked the smooth yet grainy flavor and mouthfeel. A real pleasure to drink.

Poured a brilliant copper/red with a pillowy two fingers of eggshell head. The nose was sweet, grainy malts with a soft smattering of earthy, grassy hops. The taste began with a blast of malty sweetness with undercurrents of biscut and carmel qualities. In the middle there was a fruitness (berries, peaches, and oranges). The end was similar to the nose, with a mild earthy, grassy bitterness that does manage to balance the beer nicely. There isn’t anything special about this beer but not every beer needs to be “mind blowing.” Sometimes simple and tasty is all a beer needs to be. I’ll keep em’ on hand.

Nice alt. Toasted and nutty malts with a crisp hop balance. Very thick mouthfeel as well. Very well done, just not enough oomph with the malts but a fine brew none the less.

Extremely mellow and quite good. Some mild bitterness towards the end, but well balanced in hoppiness. Very drinkable. Thanks to harlequinn for this one.

A decent beer, but not my favorite. It is a very smooth beer with a very mild flavor.

Bomber. Very refreshing and easy drinking. Pours deep amber with a quick head. Aroma is a little light with toffee, caramel, cherry and banana. The first sip was very unexpected. I thought I’d get something bland and uninspired, but instead, it was heavy with banana, some spices and nuttiness. The spices mingled on my tongue to produce a nice tingle. It may be a bit metallic, but that subsided quickly. It finishes smooth and refreshing. One of the better alts I’ve had.

Delicious beer that might take some getting used to, as the alt style isn’t for everyone. A bit dry with some hoppy essence, but also a bit wheaty and with a hint of roasted corn. Almost no head on tap, but worth trying for sure. A standard summer beer for me; excellent with a BBQ.
