COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our flagship beer is based on a turn-of-the-century recipe that quenched the thirst of miners during the Klondike Gold Rush. Smooth and richly malty, this altbier goes well with any meal.

This beer is some really good stuff. It is nice and smooth with a good aftertaste. I would definitely buy this again if I could get it here.

Light copper color. Nicely balanced aroma of malt and fruity hops. Nicely hopped, bitterness carries into the palate. Just a touch of malty sweetness. Nice brew.

Pours a deep dark clear orange color. Sweet malty aroma, rich taste that ends slightly sweet. Much better than your average amber ale.

A little too sweet for my liking, though not an awful beer. Nice big head, good color just not a flavor I love, too sweet.

Toasted and nutty and kind of sweet. Needs a little more hop for balance. a nice beer though. Good job Alaskan B.C.

UPDATED: JUL 8, 2005 Appearance: Amber/copper color, pouring with perhaps inadequate, light head, with little retention. Aroma: malty, caramel sweetness, slightly fruity. Tastes fairly sweet and malty, initially, with a well balanced, slightly dry finished; smooth and very drinkable.

Orange-red hazy Amber. Sweet carmel malty aroma. Nicely balanced beer. Pleasant surprise.

I really like this beer, but the first time I had it was during a vacation in Alaska, so my perception may be slightly skewed. Pours a deep amber, flavor is sweet malts, finish is slightly bitter and dry. A very good session beer
